Schedule: Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate: Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Work Location: TFS - Canada's International School
Board Location: York University Glendon Campus. Room and board will be available at Glendon Campus in Toronto at an economical cost.
The TAC Group is seeking a dynamic and passionate Francophone instructor to lead summer camp activities during its French Immersion programs for students ages four through twelve at the TFS-Canada's International School campus in Toronto, Ontario.
Our summer camps feature a unique offering of programs, much like university for kids, where children learn a speciality sport or skill with expert coaches.
The successful instructor candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive Francophone camp programs for campers and students.
The camp's three main pillars are Sports, STEM, and Eco-Sustainability.
TAC Group is looking forward to working with both international and local candidates in an incredible summer experience celebrating skill acquisition and excellence in French.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing exciting and engaging French language lessons and activities
- Monitoring individual success and excellence and engaging youth in development and leadership
- Communicating with other coaches and parents, offering excellent customer service to families, helping with setup at the beginning of the program, and cleaning up at the end of the day
- Upholding the TAC Sports SafeChild Initiative, including tracking medical notes, allergies, attendance, sign-in, sign-out, and facilities maintenance
Requirements include:
- Francophone, native or near-native fluency in French to a high degree
- Prior experience and a passion for working with young children
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid Work VISA or Work permit
