Job Title: Construction Flagperson

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Flagperson to join our team at 4-WAY TRAFFIC CONTROL LTD. As a Construction Flagperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of traffic at or near construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • Secure special attachments to equipment
  • Assist skilled tradespersons
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
Requirements:
  • Traffic Control Person (TCP) Certification
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks

Work Environment:

Our Construction Flagperson will work outdoors in a noisy, dusty environment. The work site will be at various locations, and the Construction Flagperson will be required to travel.

Education and Experience:

A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience, are required for this position.

Work Hours:

The Construction Flagperson will work 40 hours per week.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
