Job Title: Construction Flagperson

We are seeking a skilled Construction Flagperson to join our team at 4-WAY TRAFFIC CONTROL LTD. As a Construction Flagperson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of workers and the public at construction sites.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing traffic at or near construction sites, loading and unloading construction materials, and assisting skilled tradespersons. If you have a valid driver's license and are physically fit, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials as required.
  • Assist skilled tradespersons with their tasks and provide support as needed.
  • Secure special attachments to equipment and ensure they are properly maintained.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent experience.
  • Traffic Control Person (TCP) Certification.
Work Environment:

As a Construction Flagperson, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to lift heavy materials and work at heights, so physical fitness is essential.
