About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Ecolomondo Environmental (Hawkesbury) Inc. in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
    • Identify and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
    • Repair or replace defective machinery parts as needed.
  • Installation and Commissioning
    • Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper setup and configuration.
    • Commission systems and components, testing and verifying their functionality.
  • Welding and Fabrication
    • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or setup using various welding techniques.
    • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts as needed.
  • Operational Support
    • Operate machinery and equipment, including hoisting and lifting equipment, to perform tasks.
    • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctioning and ensure normal operation.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
    • Complete and maintain station records, logs, and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification.
    • Construction Millwright Trade Certification.
  • Experience and Skills
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Team player with flexibility and dependability.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

    • Conveyor systems.
    • Electrical and electronic controls.
