Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Internal Auditor to lead our internal controls program. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and evaluating internal controls, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing remediation plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal Control Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of internal controls, including documentation and evaluation of control effectiveness.
  • Audit Procedures: Perform detailed audit procedures, including walkthroughs, observations, analytical procedures, and review of transactions, reports, policies, and procedures.
  • Remediation Planning: Develop and implement remediation plans to address internal control weaknesses, with a focus on timely and sustainable solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and assess control gaps/deficiencies.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional accounting, audit designation, or related field (e.g. CPA, CISA, or CIA).
  • Experience: Years of experience in a role within a function with exposure to an internal controls program (e.g. SOX or ICOFR/ICFR), audit, risk, or compliance.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge and experience in evaluating internal controls under the COSO framework, with experience in large and complex processes and systems at a large public company.
