Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our client's team. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of our client's internal controls, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing remediation plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal control assessments, including documentation and evaluation of controls
  • Perform detailed audit procedures, including walkthroughs, observations, and analytical procedures
  • Facilitate and drive the remediation of internal control weaknesses, with a focus on timely and sustainable solutions
  • Plan and execute design and operating effectiveness testing for assigned subprocesses
  • Assess control gaps and process improvement opportunities

Evaluation and Documentation:

You will evaluate and document control impacts, risk exposure, and determine the existence or opportunity for mitigation to derive residual risk. Our client values diversity and inclusion, and we encourage applications from minorities, women, the disabled, and all other qualified applicants.

Requirements:

  • Professional accounting, audit designation, or related field (e.g. CPA, CISA or CIA)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a role within a function with exposure to an internal controls program (e.g. SOX or ICOFR/ICFR), audit, risk, or compliance
  • Strong knowledge and experience in evaluating internal controls under the COSO framework
