Career Opportunity

    We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to interact with customers and the engineering team, utilizing customer input and sales information to design or re-design, develop, test, and implement electrical products. This individual will provide technical support, collaborating closely with multiple departments within the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare electrical drawings for design, development, and manufacturing of electrical products, adhering to engineering standards and industry codes.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on new product development and existing system improvements.
  • Respond to customers resolving electrical issues and provide engineering technical support.
  • Propose, source/develop, and test new system subcomponents, and recently developed systems for performance.
  • Utilize technical observations and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in Valid's products and processes.
  • Maintain strong technical communication and reporting skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with engineering and production processes.
  • Technical competency in electrical engineering discipline.
  • Familiarity with engineering standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Work Environment

    This role operates primarily in an office environment, with occasional overtime required. Reflective of the community we work in, Valid recognizes the importance of work-life balance.

Estimated Salary Range

    $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
