Plains is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the collection, structuring, verification, and auditing of maintenance and reliability data.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining maintenance and reliability data standards, business processes, and best practices, as well as analyzing data and establishing metrics and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the concepts and technology specific to the Maximo EAM system and experience with oil and gas pipelines and facilities.

Additionally, the candidate will be able to focus on the details, learn and understand new systems quickly, and communicate effectively with the team.

  • Develop, maintain, and continually improve maintenance and reliability data standards, business processes, and best practices.
  • Analyze data and establish metrics, KPIs, and reporting as required and prescribed.
  • Identify data quality gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify technology / tool / system gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Plan and coordinate the roll out of improvement initiatives and corrective actions.
  • Ensure Plains' Work Execution Management Process (WEMP) complies with maintenance and reliability data collection requirements.
  • Build internal and industry relationships to assist with identifying improvement initiatives and establishing best practices.
  • Identify budget and resource requirements needed to achieve objectives per agreed quality expectations and timelines.
  • Identify and assist with mitigating barriers at the corporate and field level, as required.
  • Provide SME advisory and consultation services to the business with a focus on identifying M&R process and data integrity risks; recommend informed and cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE, company, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain role competency and training requirements.
