Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Best Transport Image Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, maintaining the condition of the vehicle and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform brake adjustments as needed.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate records.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, following all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Will train, but prior experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to withstand the demands of long-haul trucking, including extended periods of sitting and driving.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes.
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver with Best Transport Image Ltd., you will be working on the road, with regular overnight stays at designated locations. You will be required to work 50 to 60 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
