Job Title: Senior Architectural Technologist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join our team at a top architecture firm. As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for creating full working drawing packages, construction documents, and plans, as well as submitting permit applications. You will work closely with our team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Revit models and drawings for complex multi-unit residential mid to high-rise projects
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure accurate and efficient design development
  • Prepare and submit permit applications, working closely with local authorities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:
  • Architectural Technology Diploma or related Architecture education from a recognized institution
  • 7+ years of experience working as an Architectural Technologist or Designer
  • Currently living in Canada and 5+ years of experience working with building codes in Canada
  • Revit portfolio of multi-family, high-rise, mixed-use, or large commercial experience, demonstrating design excellence
  • Experience working with Revit is essential
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
