Meat Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat Department Supervisor to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our retail store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the meat department, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of inventory control and merchandising.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Meat Manager in all aspects of meat operations, including inventory control, ordering, and receiving.
- Oversee daily operations in the meat department to maintain excellent customer service and ensure a high level of product quality.
- Participate in the training and development of meat department team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
- Perform general duties, as assigned, including backup support for the Meat Manager.
- Previous experience in a retail meat department, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of meat products, including cutting, wrapping, and merchandising.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
