Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Suvnj Hospitality Inc. o/a A&W. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Quality Control: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a positive and welcoming experience for all patrons.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
- Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
