Location: Cronos GrowCo Facility
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Supervisor to join our team at Cronos GrowCo. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation within production and non-production areas of the facility.
- Ensure sanitation of cannabis present areas, equipment, and processing lines.
- Operate crate washers, trolley washer, and tool/utensil washing stations.
- Track daily and weekly tasks in sanitation logs as per Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures.
- Develop and maintain the sanitation schedule, ensuring all areas are appropriately staffed.
- Monitor Sanitation Team Members' performance and address any concerns with the Operations Manager.
- Collect data and report daily and weekly findings to the Operations Manager.
- Perform individual tasks independently and accurately in a timely manner.
- Report any noncompliance concerns to ensure regulations are being met within the facility.
- Ensure all PPE, gowning materials, and sanitation supplies for production and greenhouse are always fully stocked and work with the Warehouse Supervisor to identify departmental needs.
- Ensure all Sanitation Team Members are in compliance with all GPP regulations and coordinate with Operations Manager to issue discipline if applicable.
- Over one (1) year of experience in commercial cleaning.
- Working knowledge of health and safety regulations and trained in WHMIS procedures to deal with equipment, cleaning chemicals, and facility upkeep.
- Strong understanding of janitorial and basic cleaning duties.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and kneel and able to lift 30 pounds or more.
- Ability to provide clear criminal record check.
- Organizational skills and ability to work efficiently and effectively.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and as a team member.
- Ability to wear appropriate PPE.
