Job Summary

The Ridgeway Educational Rec Centre is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a Child Development Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing children's development and creating personalized learning plans to support their growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Assess children's development and create learning plans tailored to their needs
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers and provide guidance and support
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
  • Lead activities and engage children in storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
Requirements
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and establish collaborative relationships
Work Environment

The Ridgeway Educational Rec Centre is a child care centre located in an urban area. We offer a non-smoking environment with air conditioning and a variety of activities to promote children's development.
