Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Childventures Meadowvale Early Learning Academy Inc. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, ensuring the health and safety of children.
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Engage children in activities that foster their creativity, curiosity, and love for learning.
  • Support children in developing good eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Document children's progress and share observations with early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to keep up with the demands of the job.
