As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Baptist Housing, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Our team is dedicated to providing person-centered care, and we're looking for compassionate and skilled professionals like you to join us.

About the Role

This part-time position offers flexible short-shift opportunities, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. You'll work 4-hour shifts during the day, providing medication support and collaborating with Registered Nurses to deliver comprehensive care. With a unique schedule of 3 days on and 3 days off, you'll have time to recharge and pursue your interests.

Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care to residents, including medication administration and support
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses to develop and implement care plans
  • Participate in wellness programs and activities to promote resident engagement and well-being
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, using advanced systems like Point-Click Care and EMAR
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • Member in good standing or eligible for membership with British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Food Safe Certificate
