Job Title: Advertising and Promotions Specialist

Wanda Trading is seeking a highly skilled Advertising and Promotions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective advertising and promotional strategies to drive business growth and increase brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and develop communication strategies and programs to meet business objectives
  • Oversee the preparation of public written material, including reports, briefs, and website content
  • Prepare written material such as reports, research papers, educational texts, and articles
  • Supervise professional and support staff and students, providing guidance and direction as needed
  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products
  • Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other material
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
  • Gather, research, and prepare communications material
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and initiative
