Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Lead and motivate a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide comprehensive training to new staff members, teaching them the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have everything we need to deliver exceptional food and service.

Maintain Quality Control

Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.

Manage Records and Reports

Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.

Communicate with the Chef

Prepare and submit food order summaries to the chef, ensuring that they have all the information they need to manage the kitchen.

Establish Work Schedules

Develop and implement work schedules that meet the needs of the business and our staff.

Computer and Technology Skills

Proficient in point of sale systems and other technology used in the restaurant industry.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet the physical demands of the role.

Personal Suitability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.

Experience and Education

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
