Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain current and future infrastructures and network management systems
- Assess the possibility of outsourcing for both the Corporate environment and the Cloud Operations team
- Responsible for Cybersecurity, including the protection of ORBCOMM's infrastructure and applications
- Create IT policies and operational procedures that affect the systems' data, operations, and reliability of the infrastructure
- Provide Deskside Support to employees regarding issues or questions related to computer hardware and devices
- Deliver innovative technology initiatives that drive revenue, increase competitiveness, and improve efficiency in line with business strategy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or an equivalent business degree
- A minimum of 15 years' experience in information technology with a minimum of 10 years in data strategy and data management
- Solid experience and expertise in engineering, systems, and architecting platforms for the enterprise
- Demonstrated track record of leading the delivery of large-scale, high-quality systems
- Experience with Microsoft application suite
- Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate communications, objectives, and tasks between internal and external resources
