PeopleSoft Finance General Ledger Functional Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Finance General Ledger Functional Consultant to join our team at Astra North Infoteck Inc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PeopleSoft Finance modules, particularly in General Ledger, and a strong understanding of financial reporting processes. The consultant will be responsible for implementing and configuring PeopleSoft Finance and General Ledger components, as well as providing functional setup and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and configure PeopleSoft Finance and General Ledger components
* Provide functional setup and documentation for EBS/PeopleSoft components
* Develop and maintain functional design and process documents
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and gather requirements
* Develop and implement personalization and SQL scripts as needed
Requirements:
* 8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Finance modules, with a focus on General Ledger
* Strong understanding of financial reporting processes and journal processing
* Experience with AWE configuration and summary ledgers
* Knowledge of multicurrency processing, allocation processing, and year-end closing
* Experience with Unix environment (Solaris/AUX) and spreadsheet journals processing
* Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies
* Experience with other PeopleSoft modules, such as AP, AR, FA, and PO
