Job Summary

Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical ICU team. As a member of our healthcare team, you will coordinate and evaluate patient care, providing nursing care according to the standards of practice for Registered Nurses in the ICU.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and evaluate patient care
  • Provide nursing care according to the standards of practice for Registered Nurses in the ICU
  • Use a multidisciplinary and collaborative team approach to deliver patient-and family-centered care
  • Treat highly complex patients using leading edge treatment modalities

Requirements

  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Recent nursing experience in Level 3 critical care unit
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in caring for patients requiring Hemodynamic and Cardiac Monitoring, Mechanical Ventilation, Resuscitation, Management of Shock Syndromes and other advanced life support interventions
