The Sales Manager will lead the sales and distribution strategy for PepsiCo Beverages Canada, driving volume and revenue growth in a direct store delivery go-to-market environment. This role encompasses sales, customer service, and marketing equipment and warehousing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong talent pipeline of Frontline Supervisors and cultivate strong relationships with key customers in the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Maximize volume and revenue in a defined area
* Coach and lead a team of sales professionals and frontline employees on selling and display execution and merchandising standards
* Develop strong talent pipeline of Frontline Supervisors for export to larger roles within PepsiCo
* Cultivate strong relationships with key customers in the region
* Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
* Effectively lead delivery and merchandising operations through consistent delivery and merchandising standards in a Geo-Box environment
* Effectively lead the warehouse and facility management operations
* Effectively lead strong and positive labor relations with the Union
* Develop, motivate, and lead a large team of employees
* Ensure the team delivers volume and revenue results while managing costs
Requirements
* Post-secondary education, preferably in Business
* Demonstrated people leadership capability with a commitment to coaching and development
* Professional accomplishments that reflect self-motivation and initiative
* Solid leadership and interpersonal skills required
* Demonstrated analytical and math skills required to build key insights for quarterly and annual operating planning and previous experience managing a large-scale P&L
* Strong communication and presentation skills required
* Strong change management skills required
* Consumer products experience in a direct store delivery environment required
* Demonstrated computer proficiency
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills
* Five years of people leadership required, preferably in a sales environment
* Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle
