Job Title: Project Coordinator Lead

This role reports directly to the Director of Projects and is responsible for coordinating project activities, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining open communication with clients.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist in change management, including notifications, submissions, and pricing.
  • Enter schedule information and project updates into E2P.
  • Monitor project schedules and anticipate potential problems, proactively notifying the Project Manager.
  • Track RFI's and approvals for a smooth process.
  • Expedite changes to engineering, detailing, fabrication, and/or erection.
  • Attend project kick-off meetings, recording meeting minutes.
  • Enter purchases into e-requestor.
  • Update the project updates section of the intranet.
  • Coordinate and track drawings, compiling backup and issuing progress drawings.
  • Provide project notifications and client reporting as needed.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, project management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience as a Project Coordinator.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Project/MS Office.
  • Familiarity with project management software, preferred.
  • Knowledge of structural steel fabrication, connections, and erection practices, preferred.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and oral.

Compensation Package:

  • Negotiable salary based on experience ($85,000 - $105,000 per year).
