Job Summary
North York General Hospital is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our dynamic team in the Department of Medical Imaging. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing imaging examinations in Computed Tomography that meet the established standards of the Department and the CMRTO.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment in the department and perform imaging examinations as required.
- Implement proper procedures for patients, employees, and visitors, including health, safety, and radiation protection.
- Assume operational responsibility when on shift and assist the Radiologist as needed.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures of the Department of Medical Imaging at North York General Hospital.
Qualifications
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- BCLS certification is an asset.
- Post-graduate experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Membership with the CAMRT is recommended.
- Experience in CT and Angiography is an asset.
- Post-graduate courses in CT and Angiography are an asset.
- Must have IV and contrast injection experience is an asset.
- Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.

Working at North York General Hospital means working with a dynamic team of healthcare providers, staff, and volunteers in one of Canada's leading hospitals. This is a Full Time Temporary position, 8 hour shifts, days, evenings, including weekends and on call shifts in the Computed Tomography, Medical Imaging. We offer a highly competitive total compensation package that includes benefits, pension, and vacation.
