Job Title: Senior Scientist, MSTG
Job Summary:
Sun Pharma is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our team in the development of pharmaceutical processes. As a key member of our process development team, you will be responsible for designing and executing process development studies, batch and process qualification activities, and preparing technical documentation to support development and validation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute process development studies, including design of experiments (DOEs) and process optimization studies.
- Develop and implement process qualification batches and compile process data for analysis.
- Prepare technical documentation, including process study reports, characterization reports, and process qualification reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and quality departments.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new processes and technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in process development and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient in MS Office and statistical analysis software.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and odors.
- Ability to lift and move lightweight materials up to 10lbs.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum B.S. in a relevant science field, such as chemistry, chemical engineering, or pharmaceutical sciences.
- Preferred M.S. in a relevant science field.
- Proficient in MS Office and statistical analysis software.
