Job Summary:
As a Scientist II in the Manufacturing Science and Technology Group at Sun Pharma, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be utilized to design and execute process development studies, batch and process qualification activities, and technical documentation to support development and validation programs.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute process development studies, batch and process qualification activities.
- Develop documentation packages, including process studies, characterization, process qualification, and cleaning validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address specific problems, facilitate discussion, and research to improve procedures and build interdepartmental relationships.
- Provide troubleshooting support to manufacturing operations and champion compliance investigations, commitments, and change controls.
Requirements:
- Minimum B.S. in a relevant science field, such as Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Projects, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
- A self-starter with a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude.
Work Environment:
Corporate Office Environment located in a Manufacturing/Production and Warehouse Facility. Environmental conditions include noise, fumes, odors, gases, and dust.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to navigate office and plant floor working environments, stands, ambulates, and reaches.
- Ability to wear applicable personal protective equipment utilized at the site, including respirators, safety glasses/goggles, and safety shoes.
