We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Maintenance Lead to join our team at Quest-Tech Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our electrical systems.
About the RoleThe Electrical Systems Maintenance Lead will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians in the upkeep and repair of our electrical systems, including electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Read blueprints and technical documentation to determine work requirements and develop maintenance plans
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to identify potential issues and prevent downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical problems, often working with minimal supervision
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A college diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field, such as electrical engineering or electromechanics
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a leadership role
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
