Job Title: Network Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at CB Canada. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical knowledge and support for our in-house software, hardware, and network systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and high availability of our supported business applications
  • Provide technical knowledge and support for our network systems, including OSPF, BGP, and Palo Alto
  • Maintain the physical and logical security of all network infrastructure
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on servers, input/output fleet, and workstations
  • Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate business applications and database administration functions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the business and technical personnel
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of proven working experience in a related position with strong technical knowledge of network systems
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with day-to-day maintenance and change management for the network
  • Excellent knowledge and working ability to anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems
  • Solid working experience with management of end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations
  • In-depth knowledge in the coordination of business applications and database administration functions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business and technical personnel
  • Post-secondary degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent training
