Network Systems Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at A2Z Networks & IT Consulting Inc. (Alberta). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, with experience in implementing data, software, and hardware security procedures. They will also be responsible for performing routine network start up and close down, maintaining control records, and performing data backups and disaster recovery operations.
In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimizing server performance. They will also be responsible for performing Web-server backup and recovery operations.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. They will also have experience with network security tools, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
