Job Overview

Homejoy Development LTD seeks a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to lead construction projects, supervise workers, and coordinate activities in an outdoor environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Coordination: The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing production and other reports, coordinating schedules, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Supervision: We are looking for someone with experience in overseeing various tradespeople, including bricklayers, tilesetters, glaziers, painters, and decorators.
  • Materials and Equipment: The chosen candidate will be responsible for requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Leadership and Training: The ideal candidate will lead and instruct individuals, including trades helpers, to ensure successful project completion.
Requirements
  • Education: A secondary school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: The selected candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles are essential for this position.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral communication skills, organizational abilities, reliability, and teamwork are essential for this role.
Work Terms
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language for this role.
  • Hours: The selected candidate will work 40 hours per week.
