Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at MOYAY CONSTRUCTION & TRADING INC.

Job Summary:

The Construction Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including conducting regular site inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including ordering materials and equipment, and managing subcontractors.
  • Train and develop construction staff, including apprentices and new hires.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, firing, and promotions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, and ensure construction projects are completed according to plans.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and manage inventory.
  • Lead and instruct individuals, including construction staff and subcontractors.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with construction staff, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings, and ensure construction projects are completed according to plans.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, and ability to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to estimate costs and materials, and ensure projects are completed within budget.
Working Conditions:
  • Varies, depending on project requirements.
  • May require working at heights, in confined spaces, or in extreme weather conditions.
Language:

English.

Work Schedule:

35 hours per week.
