The Health Care Aide is a vital member of our home care team, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to provide personalized care services to our clients. This role requires a compassionate and caring individual who can build strong relationships with our clients and their families.
Responsibilities- Assist with personal care and hygiene, ensuring our clients maintain their dignity and independence
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks to meet our clients' dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment
- Accompany clients on outings and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life
- Assist with medication reminders and administration, as needed
- Ambulate and transport clients safely and efficiently
- Document and chart client progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student) is an asset
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Ability to travel around Lower Mainland
- Access to Internet/mobile phone
