Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Business Applications Manager to join our team at Terrestar Solutions Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing business applications, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Business Relationship Management
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
    • Act as the primary IT contact for business applications, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
    • Translate business requirements into software requirements, prioritizing initiatives consistent with business strategy.
    • Advocate for business needs within IT, ensuring alignment and effective solutions.
  • Solution Delivery
    • Lead projects for new application capabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Oversee testing and user acceptance, ensuring high-quality solutions.
  • Application Support and Issue Resolution
    • Resolve application issues promptly, tracking and prioritizing support tickets as needed.
    • Analyze incidents to prevent reoccurrence, reporting KPIs on application performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Update stakeholders on project and system statuses, providing clear and concise information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing business applications or similar roles.
  • Experience with financial systems, HR systems, marketing websites, analytics and reporting systems, etc.
  • Experience with common business applications such as Dynamics 365 Business Central, HiBob, Leapsome, DocuSign, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English and French).
  • Understanding of Business Relationship Management (BRM) principles and practices.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
