Job Title: Business Applications Manager

Terrestar Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Applications Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our company's portfolio of business applications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Business Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain relationships with business leaders to understand their requirements for new application capabilities.
    • Serve as the primary IT contact for business applications and gather and translate business requirements into software requirements.
    • Prioritize business applications initiatives consistent with business strategy and advocate for business needs within IT.
    • Manage the lifecycle of business applications, ensuring they are secure and up to date.
    • Enhance and integrate applications for efficiency and manage vendor relationships to recommend new solutions.
  • Solution Delivery:
    • Lead projects for new application capabilities with the Project Management Office (PMO) and coordinate cross-functional teams for project success.
    • Oversee testing and user acceptance to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Application Support and Issue Resolution:
    • Resolve application issues promptly and track, prioritize, and escalate support tickets as appropriate.
    • Analyze incidents to prevent reoccurrence and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on application performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing business applications or similar roles.
  • Experience with financial systems, HR systems, marketing websites, analytics and reporting systems, etc.
  • Experience with common business applications such as Dynamics 365 Business Central, HiBob, Leapsome, DocuSign, etc.
  • Bilingual (English and French) and understanding of Business Relationship Management (BRM) principles and practices.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
