Business Applications Manager

At Terrestar Solutions Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our portfolio of business applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and business applications, with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with business leaders. You will serve as the primary IT contact for business applications, gathering and translating business requirements into software requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with business leaders
- Serve as the primary IT contact for business applications
- Gather and translate business requirements into software requirements
- Prioritize business applications initiatives consistent with business strategy
- Advocate for business needs within IT
- Manage the lifecycle of business applications
- Manage vendor relationships and recommend new solutions
- Lead projects for new application capabilities with PMO
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for project success
- Oversee testing and user acceptance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing business applications or similar roles
- Experience with financial systems, HR systems, marketing websites, analytics and reporting systems, etc.
- Experience with common business applications such as Dynamics 365 Business Central, HiBob, Leapsome, DocuSign, etc.
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Understanding of Business Relationship Management (BRM) principles and practices
- Project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Business Acumen
- Ability to mitigate organizational & IT security risks
- Rigor and planning
- Business analyst mindset
