Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and package take-out food.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate dishwashers, conventional ovens, deep fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
