About the Role

We're seeking a talented Co-op Developer to join our team at CARFAX Canada. As a Co-op Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including rapid application development, design and coding of production-ready applications, and collaboration with a development team to define and promote coding best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Rapid application development in C#, T-SQL, Java Script, and other web technologies
- Design and code production-ready applications in an agile process
- Create unit tests
- Work with technical operations team to ensure proper rollout strategy and configuration
- Work with a development team to define and promote coding best practices
- Perform code maintenance on existing applications
- Work with quality assurance experts to ensure testing requirements are met
- Write first-level technical documentation for applications
- Participate in an agile environment with other team members

Requirements

- Currently enrolled in a college diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, programmer analyst, software testing, etc.
- Design and develop front ends for websites in an agile environment using knowledge of Java Script, Web Components, Vue.js
- Assist with back-end APIs, websites, and applications using SQL, C#
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Design and code production-ready applications in an agile process
- Create unit tests
- Work with technical operations team to ensure proper rollout strategy and configuration
- Develop software solutions with a team using best practices
- Perform code maintenance on existing applications
- Work with quality assurance experts to ensure testing requirements are met
- Write first-level technical documentation for applications
- Participate in an agile environment with other team members
