Overview

Donna Cona is a leading provider of software development solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team.

Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality software products, working closely with cross-functional teams, and collaborating on the design, development, and deployment of new features and technologies.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in a DevOps environment;
  • Strong proficiency in Java, SQL programming languages, REST- and SOAP-based services, Spring Boot or Apache Camel frameworks, Apigee or equivalent API Gateway platform, Confluent Kafka or Apache ActiveMQ eventing platform, JHipster Domain Language or Liquibase database utilities, Docker, Istio, Rancher, or Kubernetes container hosting platforms, and GitLab DevOps Platform;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong communication skills;
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product teams, architects, and QA engineers;
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines;
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Tetrate Service Bridge, and others;
  • Strong understanding of data designs, standards, and specifications;
  • Ability to participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure technical responsibility over assigned software products and codebases.
