We're seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to join our team at co-elevate in London, Kitchener, or St. Thomas.

This role is open to work on-site or remotely for the right candidate, with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience.

Job Description

As a Senior Structural Engineer at co-elevate, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering complex structural projects from conceptualization to completion.

You'll collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other team members to create safe, efficient, and innovative structures that meet our clients' needs.

Your primary focus will be on providing technical expertise and oversight to ensure project quality, while also mentoring junior engineers and guiding them in their growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver structural projects from concept to completion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project quality and client satisfaction
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Provide technical expertise and oversight to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Participate in business development activities to identify new opportunities and grow our client base
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in the Province of Ontario
  • At least 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of success
  • Expertise in designing multiple structure types and materials, including steel, wood, masonry, concrete, and more
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP, and RISA3D
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
