Job Summary

At EXP, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Civil Engineer/EIT to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering complex infrastructure projects.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in the design and development of infrastructure projects, including watermains, storm and sanitary sewers, grading, and storm water management.
  • Supporting the design project manager in liaising with clients, regulatory authorities, and other project stakeholders to guide projects through the approval processes.
  • Collaborating with the design project manager on project schedules and budgets.
  • Developing and implementing detailed design plans for civil and siteworks infrastructure projects.
  • Overseeing and documenting contractor compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Preparing and reviewing site reports and ensuring accurate payments for work performed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
