As a key member of the ThinkOn team, the Enterprise Architect will play a critical role in designing and improving the company's service infrastructure. This role will be responsible for the architectural ownership of configuring and designing solutions with the Product and Engineering teams. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions and outcomes for ThinkOn's customer base that leverage the standard services offered. The Enterprise Architect must be capable of leading and coordinating a team of internal and external resources and will be recognized as an expert in ThinkOn products, services, and practices. The role will be responsible for reviewing the current technical backlog and providing design changes to align with ThinkOn's vision. The Infrastructure Architect will help design and maintain standard deployment of new and existing services and solutions.

You Will:
  • Be the go-to expert for all ThinkOn Infrastructure and services in conversations with Engineering and Product
  • Review new technology and build out POC plans for execution
  • Act as the technical leader to provide guidance and planning for Engineer and Operations teams to roll out new/existing services
  • Act as the technical bridge between the product team, vendors, and ThinkOn Engineering team to ensure complex solutions are clearly defined, quoted, and can be implemented
  • Have a comprehensive grasp of cloud-centric technologies and the ability to understand and carry end conversations regarding requirements and specifications
  • Be responsible for designing and architecting solutions for end subscribers primarily using ThinkOn's product portfolio
  • Drive positive revenue growth by helping the product team configure business winning solutions
  • Support an exceptional vendor experience based on timely technical knowledge and support to our team
  • Build relationships with vendor technical teams
  • Own Infrastructure technical backlog at ThinkOn and provide guidance and solutions for improvement
  • Provide support to Product on new and existing projects
  • Work with the Project Management Office to hand over new project design requirements and documentation for new projects
  • Help create and deliver Operation and Engineering presentations and training seminars
  • Provide technical expertise to ThinkOn events as required
  • Build out vendor relationships with key technical folks to ensure weekly/bi-weekly cadence reviews
  • Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency
  • Responsible to help build out and manage a growing Architecture team
You Have:
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong VMware knowledge (Kubernetes/Container knowledge is an asset), strong infrastructure knowledge (network, storage, and compute), strong data protection and archiving solutions knowledge, object storage knowledge, disaster recovery and replication concepts and solution knowledge, strong design and architecture knowledge to help build out solutions that scale, strong technical knowledge on Storage SANs (Hitachi, HPE, Dell, Pure), knowledge or backup and DR software such as Veeam, Commvault, Zerto, Avamar, and Networker
  • Have sound understanding of IT Infrastructure, cloud, and cloud-based technologies and applications
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively communicate with all parties involved in the conversations and project handoff conversations
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to lead POCs and work with other ThinkOn teams for resources
  • Ability to lead vendor related conversations for roadmap and features
  • Strong Architecture Design skills to help develop solutions to scale for cloud services providers
