Our Horizontal Infrastructure Business Unit has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects in Canada. Our team of planners, engineers, and contract administrators work together to deliver infrastructure solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design integrated municipal roadway, provincial highway, transit facilities, and active transportation facilities projects for clients in the province and other major municipalities.
- Assist in preparing designs, design drawings, contract documents, engineering specifications, and cost estimates for municipal road and highway engineering work.
- Prepare correspondence, engineering reports, proposals, expressions of interest, specifications, and meeting minutes.
- Liaise with clients and sub-consultants.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring for junior staff.
- Conduct Quality Management reviews to ensure corporate policies are followed and documented.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in transportation design engineering, preferably with local experience in the consulting industry.
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering.
- P.Eng. designation or ability to register.
- Knowledge of applicable design standards.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and proposal writing skills.
- Past experience in contract administration is an asset.
