Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Western Restaurant Franchises Inc. O/A A & W Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor revenues and labour costs to ensure profitability and make data-driven decisions.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of staff.
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise staff and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth.
  • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy loads.
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
