Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Western Restaurant Franchises Inc. O/A A & W Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to meet business objectives and improve customer satisfaction
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to maintain profitability
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute menu development, promotions, and special events
  • Manage staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 32 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
