Job Title: Senior Accountant - Assurance

Agilus is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant - Assurance to join our Core Audit practice in Dieppe, New Brunswick. As a Senior Accountant, you will be a professional member of our team, responsible for delivering quality assurance services to our clients and their stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, contributing ideas and opinions to audit teams and listening to and responding to team members' views.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, assessing their satisfaction and providing exceptional service.
  • Apply complex accounting and auditing concepts to client situations, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the subject matter.
  • Utilize technology to enhance service delivery, share knowledge with team members, and continually learn and improve.
  • Adapt the audit approach to meet the changing needs of clients and their environments.
Requirements:
  • Earned an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, preferably from a recognized institution.
  • Obtained the Canadian CFE and/or possess a Canadian CPA designation, or hold a reciprocal CPA/CA designation recognized by CPA.
  • Acquired a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an auditor for a public accounting firm or in a relevant business/industry.
  • Possess bilingual language skills (English and French) as an asset.
