About the Role

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant - Assurance to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be a key member of our Core Audit practice, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality assurance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a Collaborative Work Environment: Contribute to the development of an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment, where ideas and opinions are valued and respected.
  • Build Strong Client Relationships: Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients, assessing their satisfaction and providing exceptional service.
  • Apply Complex Accounting Concepts: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts, applying them to client situations to drive business growth and success.
  • Embrace Technology and Innovation: Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Adapt to Changing Client Needs: Adapt the audit approach to meet the evolving needs of clients, ensuring that our services remain relevant and effective.
Requirements
  • Education: Earned an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, preferably from a recognized institution.
  • Professional Certifications: Obtained the Canadian CFE and/or possess a Canadian CPA designation, or possess a reciprocal CPA/CA designation recognized by CPA.
  • Experience: Acquired a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an auditor for a public accounting firm, or possess relevant business/industry experience to meet special needs.
  • Language Skills: Possess bilingual language skills (English and French) as an asset.
