Job Title: Senior Accountant - Assurance

Agilus is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant - Assurance to join our Core Audit practice in Dieppe, New Brunswick. As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of a team that delivers quality assurance services to our clients and their stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, contributing ideas and opinions to audit teams and actively listening to and responding to team members' views.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, assessing their satisfaction and providing exceptional service.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of complex accounting and auditing concepts to client situations, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Utilize technology to enhance service delivery, share knowledge with team members, and continually learn and improve.
  • Adapt the audit approach to meet the evolving needs of clients and their environments.
Requirements:
  • Hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, preferably from a recognized institution.
  • Be a certified Canadian CFE or possess a Canadian CPA designation, or hold a reciprocal CPA/CA designation recognized by CPA.
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an auditor for a public accounting firm or possess relevant business/industry experience.
  • Possess bilingual language skills (English and French) as an asset.
