About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Ponoka IDA Drugstore. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Sales and Inventory Management: Monitor and control sales volumes, inventory levels, and merchandise displays to maximize sales and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff, promoting their growth and development within the company.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Skills: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, team player, initiative, and ability to multitask.
