About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Technica Mining in Sudbury, ON. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to the electrical team, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision to the electrical team, consisting of licensed and apprentice personnel
  • Ensure production and maintenance targets are met
  • Safe and efficient execution of electrical service, repairs, and installations
  • Planning, organizing, and overseeing daily operations to develop and manage sound electrical workings safely and in accordance with company standards and procedures
Requirements
  • Valid Construction and Maintenance 309a Electrical License
  • Active member in good standing with the Skilled Trades Ontario
  • Trained and accredited in the Generic Supervisor Common Core Program (#770141)
  • 3 years of related experience, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Working knowledge and experience with mechanical and electrical equipment is required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
  • Ability to plan, organize, and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound knowledge of primary mobile equipment maintenance and OEM specification
  • Willing and able to undergo pre-employment testing as a condition of pre-employment
