About the Role:

The Housekeeping Associate is a vital member of our team at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino Inc, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, ensuring a spotless and hygienic environment for our guests.
  2. Dust furniture, fixtures, and appliances, paying attention to every detail to deliver exceptional service.
  3. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, maintaining a pristine appearance throughout the property.
  4. Make beds and change sheets, ensuring a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
  5. Distribute clean towels and toiletries, ensuring our guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay.
  6. Stock linen closets, maintaining an efficient and organized workflow.
  7. Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  8. Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  9. Clean and disinfect elevators, maintaining a seamless and efficient guest experience.
  10. Handle and report lost and found items, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our guests' property is accounted for.
  11. Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  12. Provide basic information on facilities, such as amenities, services, and directions, ensuring our guests feel welcome and informed.
  13. Pick up debris and empty trash containers, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment throughout the property.
  14. Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, ensuring a sparkling and well-maintained appearance.

Requirements:

  1. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  2. Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities with ease.
  3. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of our hotel is immaculate and well-maintained.
  4. Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  5. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
